International Financial Support Decreases Amid Conflict Situations. Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) Antonio Guterres said that there is currently a large decline in international financial support. He stated that international finance was needed in order to expedite Myanmar’s return to form a democratic government.
Furthermore, he said the UN is also doing its best to mobilize the international community so that it can find the necessary resources. According to him, at this time, he must be able to talk to all parties so that he can get humanitarian access.
