Elon Musk Launches Crypto Payment Feature on X. Social media Twitter, which has now changed its name to X, is reported to have obtained a license to develop a crypto wallet to allow users to transfer Bitcoin to Dogecoin on its platform.
This approval was granted by the Rhode Island government after platform X obtained a crypto money transfer license from the governments of Michigan, Missouri and New Hampshire.
It is still unclear what types of financial offers will be available in the X crypto wallet, but with the presence of this feature fellow users of X’s social media platform can later easily carry out transfer activities.
Not only that, the latest wallet service released by Elon Musk also allows X users to store and exchange cryptocurrencies.
Before the plan to launch crypto wallet X was initiated by Elon Musk, a number of communication platforms were known to have already joined crypto payment technology, including Telegram which started integrating Bitcoin and USDT payments directly into its messaging application.
